There are around 194 countries in the world, with each country having its own currency i.e. dollars in USA, pounds in UK, rupees in India and many more. Triangle conversion method
The triangle conversion method is the most commonly used, in which a currency amount is changed to another intermediate currency amount and then that particular intermediate currency is converted to the required currency. This method is widely practiced by the members of EMU (European Monetary Union) for converting various currencies.

Division conversion method
In this method the amount of a currency that is to be converted is divided by a transition factor so as to obtain the required currency amount.

Multiplication conversion method
In this type of method the currency amount is multiplied by a transition factor so as to obtain the required currency amount.
